This Weekends UFC 138 Event Sets Live Gate Record For LG Arena

The UFC has taken over another Arena’s revenue record, this time in their return trip to England.

With 20-years in operation, Birmingham England’s LG Arena has notched a new note in their history this week with the UFC 138 Live Gate figures.

A near sellout, the UFC’s managing director of international development Mr. Marshall Zelaznik told the media this afternoon that only a “couple-hundred” seats remain for this weekend’s event.

“We are within a couple hundred seats of a total sellout,” stated Zelaznik. “I spoke with the arena executives yesterday, and they’ve assured me that we’ve already set the revenue record for the arena, so we’re really proud of that and thank you for all the fan support.”

“UFC 138: Munoz vs. Leben” goes down at the LG Arena at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham England. The Spike TV card will feature a main event between middleweights, Mark Munoz and Chris Leben in the UFC’s first ever 5-round non-title fight.
