This Week on BJPenn.com Radio: Liz Carmouche, Johny Hendricks and Martin Kampmann

On the final Sunday episode before BJPenn.com Radio officially moves to Wednesday nights in November, hosts Mitch Ciccarelli and Bryan Levick will close out the week with a bang! Our lineup so far includes top Strikeforce and Invicta FC bantamweight Liz Carmouche and UFC welterweight contenders Johny Hendricks and Martin Kampmann.

A former United States Marine, Carmouche has established herself as one of the strongest bantamweight fighters in all of Women’s MMA. Last year, Carmouche came incredibly close to defeating then Strikeforce champion Marloes Coenen before getting caught in a fourth round triangle choke. Fresh off a victory over deadly striker Kaitlin Young at Invicta FC 2, Carmouche was scheduled to face Olympic silver medalist Sara McMann for Strikeforce in December before the show was ultimately cancelled.

Hendricks and Kampmann are just three weeks away from facing off against one another in Montreal at UFC 154 in a bout that could determine the next contender at 170-lbs. The main event of that fight card features an undisputed welterweight title unification bout between returning champion, Georges St-Pierre and interim champ Carlos Condit. Hendricks enters this fight with back to back top 10 victories, a first round knockout of Jon Fitch and a tough split decision win over Josh Koscheck. Kampmann also comes in with a string of victories over Jake Ellenberger, Thiago Alves and Rick Story.

As usual the show will begin promptly at 6:30pm Eastern.
