Thiago Silva Ready To Kill Or Die In Sweden Against Gustafsson

“The fact that I have not fought in a year will not affect me at all. I have been rehabilitating my injuries and training harder than ever to prove that I am one of the best fighters in the world. I am ready and healthy. April 14 in Sweden will be an amazing night! I think I’m a good fighter and I have potential to a champion one day and I will work hard to get it. I have healed my injuries and have been training very hard. The fight in Sweden will showcase how much I have improved and how hungry I am to win. My prediction is that I will fight hard like a true warrior. Everybody knows my style. When I step in the Octagon, I go to kill or die, and I will do the same on April 14th, and I will be ten times more aggressive because this fight is very important for me.”

In a recent interview with Lowkick, UFC light-heavyweight fighter, Thiago Silva expressed his feelings about coming back to action after more than a year layoff from competition due to an athletic suspension.

Will he be able to make an impact in the division once again or are his days numbered as a UFC fighter?

  1. chris says:

Wouldnt mind if the latter happened.

  2. T.Daddy says:

Blah blah blah ur a cheater

    • MMACRAVER says:

      My thoughts exactly.

      • allmightysandman says:

mine too. Not sure why so many are letting him off the hook on this…and choose to hang on, forever, to the hate for others that have stepped outside the rules. His cheating was premeditated, thought out and a flagrant dispensing of the rules. At least Nick’s suspension is kind of debatable as his use of weed was legal in his state and he had stopped…blah blah blah…i’m not a big diaz fan at all, but Silva’s is waaaay worse IMHO.

        cheatin duche.

  3. Alex says:

He is very wellrounded and still young. I guess if he trains right with the right people he could come in contention for the title. he only lost to two former ufc champions and almost tko’ed everyone else he has fought

    • jc says:

he got ktfo by machida and dominated against rashad, no way he is ever getting a shot at the title

      • ry tay says:

yeah he got ko’d by machida with like 2seconds left in the 3rd round. and rashad is the #1 contender right now. You know nothing except how your dick feels in your hand kid

        • King says:

Correction. Round 1 not round 3.

        • toneloc24 says:

Dammit! U beat me to it lol. Cheers

        • toneloc24 says:

2 seconds left in the 3rd round? U sure about that kid?

        • King says:

You know nothing except how your dick feels in your hand kid :)

        • jc says:

1st off he got ko’d in the first round and was getting over powered by machida in the clinch b4 that. and rashad show us that thiago has no take down defence what so ever. he aint even that good of a strike, who has he really knocked out keith jardine…please get your head out of your ass kid :)

  4. sam says:

Thiago is the man. Fucking shit talkers. You’ll see.

    • allmightysandman says:

if he’s “the man” why did he submit horse piss? …kinda makes him “The horse” doesn’t it??

      he’s a cheatin duche.

      • magoo says:

There all cheatin douches AMS,it’s just some are better at covering it up then others. Thiago’s a young tough fighter that got caught and paid the price big time,I’m gonna give him a second chance, cause IMO 90% of all fighters today take some sort of illegal substance to give them an advantage. It’s just the poor bastards that get caught take the wrath for everyone else who havn’t yet!

  5. Jorge Rocha says:

I think he’s one of the best heavyweight!

  6. Magoo says:

He’s LHW Jorge, and I’m stoked to see him back in the cage Thiagos a beast!

  7. Xaninho says:

I always liked to see him fight, but it was disappointing to find out he cheated at least that last fight against Vera.

The fight will still be awesome I think.

  8. Dick Diaz says:

rooting for The Mauler… LHW needs some viable challengers to start emerging…

  9. m says:

Thiago was a beast and still is….but when you substitute animal piss for your own to cover up illegal supplements that’s WEAK.

Pulling for Gusto on this one.

  10. the original steve says:

stfu ur not gonna kill anyone or die. you are gonna win or lose

  11. Micheal says:

    cheating prick !

  12. effyocouch says:

Who cares if he cheated at this point? Unlike a lot of others, he owned up to it, apologized, and accepted his punishment like a man rather than make up a bunch of bullshit excuses unlike most of the other fighters that get caught.

With that said, I see Thiago making a damn good comeback with this fight and being better than ever before.

    • effyocouch says:

and yes I just realized I said unlike others twice lol

    • Stiffler says:

Finally someone with a brain on here, who gives a shit ppl act like thiago is the 1st person to ever do something wrong. I can’t wait to see him fight again

  13. Alex Daas says:

I like how sonnen gets a pass but silva gets nailed to the cross

  14. krafty11 says:

what is kinda ironic is he never tested positive for anything..technically speaking.. he got busted for substituting animal urine for his own.. lolz. But, I hope he learned his lesson, and hoping for a great fight on April 14th.

  15. Sergio says:

Thiago silva, Anderson silva, wanderlai silva and big foot silva are all brothers, am I wrong?

  16. Eric Veloz says:

He’s gonna do some work against Gustafsson.
