Thiago Alves Ready To Shut Up Siyar Bahadurzada | UFC NEWS

“At this point, especially after UFC 151 was cancelled, I fight anyone. I was hoping to fight later this year, but since UFC cancelled an edition I guess I’ll only fight in January now. If it works out, in Brazil. It would be great to shut (Siyar) up, but I fight whoever Joe Silva (UFC matchmaker) pair me up with. I have to fight someone.
He’s nothing compared to the level of competition I’m used to. I’m fighting in the UFC for almost seven years and I had never had an easy fight. He’s very cocky and I love fighting people who talk too much. It motivates me and brings out my best.
I guess… No, I know he got pretty lucky against Paulo Thiago. If they fought again it would be totally different. I guess Paulo Thiago lost a lotta weight for that fight and couldn’t rehydrate correctly, só when he got punched in the heat, Thiago went down. And when your brain is dehydrated, any punch that is landed in your head can turn you off.”
UFC welterweight fighter and former title challenger Thiago Alves tells Brazilian media outlet, Tatame.com, that he hopes to face off with Siyar Bahadurzada whose constant call-outs of the divisions top fighters has apparently worked against the ATT fighter.

Brazil can be a tough place to grow up and work. like Paulo Thiago working as a police officer and for BOPE, a special forces unit of Brasilia. i have a ton of respect for Paulo Thiago.
that being said, i also respect Siyar Bahadurzada. he grew up in a war zone. Afghanistan is no joke. like dave chappelle said, ‘bombed out and depleted’. of course he moved out of there, but he’ll have those memories and nightmares forever.
can’t say much about Thiago Alves. he’s never been that interesting, and doesn’t say anything special.
are you gonna bark all day little dog, or you gonna bite.
ps. pitbull is such an over used nickname it’s practically cliche.
