“The Ultimate Fighter Brazil” | Episode 1 Results

The first ever episode of an international “Ultimate Fighter” was aired last night on TUF.TV for American audiences to view.
Unfortunately for North American fans, if you want to watch the series the only place it seems to be available at the moment is an on-line stream at midnight on Sunday.
For those who did not catch it last night here is a brief rundown followed by results:
The broadcast opened up with a brief explanation about Brazilian Mixed Martial Arts. They explained that 5,000 fighters applied to be on the show and out of those 5,000, 500 were selected to actually tryout. In the end they selected 16 middleweights and 16 featherweights to compete to earn a slot in the “TUF Brazil” House.
The scene then shifted to Brazil’s HSBC Arena where the 32 fighters joined UFC president Dana White and coaches Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva.
They waste no time getting the 16 elimination bouts underway to determine the TUF cast and they were entertaining.
