Team Deathclutch Fighter Cole Konrad Gives Brock Lesnar Health Update

“Yeah yeah, we’ve been going for a while here. And every time he talks to me, he says he feels like a million bucks too. You know, he’s a big, stong, athletic dude, and he feels like he’s over the diverticulitis completely. I mean, he feels like his old self, before had the bout with it. So, real excited.”

Bellator heavyweight champion, Cole Konrad, had a recent sit-down with MMA Nations Luke Thomas and gave an update on the health status of the former UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar.

There was a video to include in this post; however, before I could get it up it was taken down. All of the Team Deathclutch trainers and fighters are known to have to sign a non-disclosure agreement making talks about Lesnar completely off limits. I am not saying this is why the video was taken down, maybe it’s just a youtube error.

I was surprised at Konrad’s openness in regards to this topic; luckily I got the quote before the video was taken down.

Thoughts on the return of Lesnar Penn Nation?

UPDATE: The video is back up!

    Lesnar+Pat Barry= a better fighter

I still feel like he is being thrown to the wolves because he hasn’t fought enough opponents to be the champion for a long period of time. To fight the former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champ while coming off an injury seems a little off. Good luck Brock, I hope you have been working on your stand up.

imo Alistair is gonna put a worse beating on him than Cain

i agree with Ninja Oreo Dollop he needs a different fighter than Allister overeem so he can get back into the groove but pat berry would b bad fight he would just dominate him

No LOL I meant Pat Barry has been training at Team Deathclutch since his last fight with Cheik Kongo. Both fighters weaknesses should be minimizing as a result of him joining their camp. Pat Barry is Brock’s greatest asset for this fight.

Thats some great news if Brock has a guy like Barry working with him. I really hope Brock comes back strong, he may not win but to see him get smashed 3 times in a row (shane and cain were my first 2) that would suck. I like Brock because of the fact that he comes to fight and put on a show I just hope he can give Vreem a good fight because we all know how Brock has faired against decent strikers. Vreem is elite in striking and TD so Brock better learn how to take some punches quick because he’s going to get hit in this fight. If Brock can get Overeem on his back we might see him pull of an upset.

I think Lesnar thinks hes 200% in his mind but in his heart he knows that the disease has taken his toll on him. He probably isn’t disclosing the fact that his workouts leading up to his training camp have proven otherwise than his statements. Why? Because this would be a horrible way to get put up on the shelf after holding the strap and fighting so little fights. He will go against any proffesional opinions, imo, to continue what he loves to do, in the sport where he truly found himself. We’ll see come training camp, I foresee the big announcement concerning his health coming before his scheduled fight. PENN NATION!!!!!!!
