Lightweights T.J. Grant and Carlo Prater are the latest additions to the continually growing UFC on FUEL TV 3 event set for May.

With a featherweight headliner in place between the fast rising Dustin Poirier and the equally talented “Korean Zombie”, UFC on FUEL TV 3 is set to go down from the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. on May 15.

Grant fights for the second time as a UFC lightweight. After alternating wins and losses in the promotions welterweight division he successfully took out Shane Roller in his 155 pound debut. After being forced to withdraw from his scheduled UFC 141 bout against Jacob Volkmann he has now reached recovery from injury and is set to return to action.

Facing the tough Canadian will be Brazilian standout Carlo Prater. Prater is on the heels of his UFC debut victory at UFC 142 over Erick Silva. In the fight Prater looked to be finished but referee Mario Yamasaki disqualified the dominant Silva for illegal shots to the back of the head and gave Prater the victory.

No word on where this bout will be placed on the evening’s card was given when confirmed official.

Stay tuned for the BJPENN.COM Editors Breakdown of this lightweight tilt.
