“Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” Television Ratings Report

The ratings for last Saturday’s “Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” event are in and should be considered a success all things considered.
While the event only drew in 431,000 viewers, it should be noted that the fact it was headlined by a female title fight and not a huge name brand star gives these figures a little more relevance.
It wasn’t the highest rating in the promotions history, but the Tate vs. Rousey event still outdrew the likes of Barnett vs. Kharitonov, Rockhold vs. Jardine and Henderson vs. Feijao. That says a lot.
“Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” took place last Saturday from Columbus Ohio’s Nationwide Arena. In the end it was Ronda Rousey who took out the champ, Miesha Tate and proved why she is the number one female bantamweight in the world.

Damn just cancel strikeforce already.
How about the fact that it was on Showtime and not PPV
Just move Strikeforce to FX on Fridays to compete with Bellator and TUF to Wednesdays.
Or have Best of Pride, New UFC Unleashed and New TUF lead in for Strikeforce for MMA Fridays on FX to compete with Bellator and Spike Network.
Who’s with me on this one?
im sure they would but they have a contract with Show time :
Who Cares? Womens MMA is no different than the WNBA… Not Intersted! On Top of Showtimes shitty production, they have the worst announcers EVER!
