“Strikeforce Tate vs. Rousey” Salary Report
The “Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” Salary report from the Ohio State Athletic Commission is in and topping the list of disclosed payrolls was Ronaldo Jacare Souza who took home $92,000 for this third round submission victory over Bristol Marunde.
The total disclosed payroll for the event was $543,000.00.
“Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” took place this past Saturday from Columbus, Ohio’s Nationwide Arena. In the main event the female bantamweight title changed hands when Ronda Rousey submitted Miesha Tate in the very first round of action.
Former Strikeforce lightweight champion, Josh Thomson, took home the second highest disclosed salary with $80,000.00 and event headliner Ronda Rousey took home $32,000.00 in her successful bid to take Miesha Tate’s bantamweight title.

It is bizarre that a current champion (at the time) only got $20,000.00 for one fight. I mean, damn, show some respect to your title-holders. Oh well. This shit is chump change when compared to the UFC fighters’ salaries.

In my opinion fighting is more natural to males
called contracts people they enter the organization at a low rate for say a 6 fights, doesn’t matter if they win a title in 2 fight they will still get paid that rate till its up.and this is Strikeforce they was about to go under why the UFC was able to come in and buy it
