“Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” Drug Test Results

Five “Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” competitors underwent mandatory drug testing by the Ohio State Athletic Commission.
Today the commission released the results.
“Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” took place this past Saturday from Columbus, Ohio’s Nationwide Arena. In the main event the female bantamweight title changed hands when Ronda Rousey submitted Miesha Tate in the very first round of action.
Headliners Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey as well as Paul Daley and Kuzuo Misaki all came up clean for performance enhancing drugs (PED’s) and drugs of abuse (Marijuana, cocaine, etc.)
The fifth fighter tested was main card combatant Bristol Marunde. Marunde received a therapeutic exemption for the use of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and the commission is just awaiting the results on his testing to show his testosterone levels to be within the acceptable range.
