Stittgen vs. Guimaraes Added To UFC on FUEL TV 4 | UFC NEWS
A welterweight bout against Dan Stittgen and UFC Rookie Marcelo Guimaraes is in talks to take place on July’s UFC on Fuel TV 4 fight card.
Sources close to both fighters have confirmed the fight has been agreed upon and the contract will be finished soon.
Stittgen, a Midwest Training Center Product, is coming off a loss at his inaugural UFC fight but is looking to bounce back against newcomer Guimaraes. Stittgen brought to the UFC a three fight win streak in regional competition and is seeking to get back to his winning ways and pick up his first victory in the UFC.
Guimaraes bolsters an undefeated record into the UFC octagon and is looking to keep his slate clean at the UFC’s July event.
UFC officials have yet to confirm the Guimares vs. Stittgen matchup, but it’s expected to take place on the evening’s preliminary card.
