Stephan Bonnar: This Fight Against Silva “Feels Like I’m In A Movie” | UFC NEWS

“Yeah, a chance to fight the greatest pound-for-pound in the world in a place like Brazil is just crazy. It feels like I’m in a movie… I just did it for fun, not really for any belts. And now I’m fighting the greatest pound-for-pound guy who’s been the champion for a long time and it’s not for a belt. And you think if I pull off an upset against Anderson Silva, it’s not going to be as sweet because it’s not for a belt? Hell no. It’s going to be the greatest moment of my life.
An enthusiastic and optimistic Stephan Bonnar recently sat down with mmafighting.com and talked aboutnext weeks UFC 153 main event between himself and Anderson Silva.
UFC president Dana White called this fight a real life “Rocky Story” and Bonnar seems to share his sentiment. But is anyone actually giving Bonnar a chance in the upset?
Sound off Penn Nation!

So how was Anderson vs nick Diaz considered a dumb fight to make and this isn’t?
Are you serious? Nick Diaz is a welterweight.. He doesn’t fight at 185.. Let alone 205!!! Are you just stupid, or just fawkin retarded? If you’re retarded.. I guess I can let it go.
I swear people are fukkn dumb…lol
…No one said a Diaz v Silva fight would be at 205? Diaz said he would come to 185 to fight Silva. Also you call people retarded but you said “fawkin retarded”
And Silva is a middleweight not a 205 lber but he moved up to fight Bonner like Nick would move up to fight him.
Nick Diaz is still on suspension anyway, so the whole Diaz discussion is pointless.
Invoking “Rocky” is a great marketing technique for this fight, which many fans consider underwhelming. Nice work guys…
