Stefan Struve Went To Battle On Fuel While His Father Battles Cancer | UFC NEWS

“My dad has been dying of cancer for about two months, so this was for him tonight. He is in his therapy for four weeks now and I heard he is doing well, but still… Yeah it was really tough man. It was great to get the win, (but) it is good to go home and focus on that now.”
UFC on FUEL TV 5 main event winner, Stefan Struve, let the FUEL TV audience know in his post fight interview that his father is currently undergoing therapy for a bout of cancer. The UFC’s tallest fighter was able to get past his personal adversity to get past Stipe Miocic in under two-rounds via TKO stoppage.
We would like to wish the Struve family our best as Stefan’s father battles for his life.
