Spike TV Announces Information Regarding Their Bellator Reality Show | MMA NEWS
As of January 2013 Spike TV will officially be free and clear of any and all obligations with the UFC. Plans have been in place for some time now to bring Bellator from their current home to Spike TV.
There has also been rumors running rampant about a potential reality show similar to The Ultimate Fighter. Those rumors were confirmed during a conversation I had with Bellator Lightweight Champion Michael Chandler and Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney earlier this year.
While there hasn’t been any specific reported Spike TV released a press release today stating that they are looking for lightweight and welterweight fighters with at least three career professional fights as well as a record above .500, the tryouts will be held November 10th at the American Top Team Gym.
Potential candidates must be at least 21-years-old. As soon as further information is released we will be sure to post it.

Bellator capitalizing on the UFC’s biggest mistake, leaving Spike.
I fully agree with you Kyle. Spike started the ball rolling for UFC. Because of Spike & the popularity of TUF, UFC was able to buy out Pride. TUF’s ratings now is at a record low. UFC went for the pay day by going with Fuel & Fox, but is not projecting as well as is expected.
