Sonnen Says He Talked His Way Into Jones Fight By Merely Saying “Yes” Nothing More | UFC NEWS
“I keep hearing that I talked my way into the fight, and guys, it’s true; but the word that I used was ‘yes.’ When the chance came and they said do you want to fight? I said yes. Contrary to what it may look like on TV, this guy’s pretty darn good, and there’s not a lot of guys that want to fight him. Contrary to what the oddsmakers may say, (I’m) pretty good too and there’s not a lot of guys that want to fight me. A lot of guys complaining about me getting the fight with Jon, but not one of those guys said, ‘I want to fight Jon,’ not one of them.”

I love Chael Sonnen, I believe when he’s on his game he’s unbeatable, I think he could make a lot of noise in the HW div. I’d also like to add that Xanhino is a homo,I mean gay all day.
LOL, He’s been “off his game” 12 times in his professional fighting career. Unbeatable at not being able to punch a hole through a wet paper bag with a knife in his hand maybe. But man he can sure take that wet paper bag down to the ground though.
Did you even watch the first Anderson fight? More than one knock down… On ANDERSON.
So don’t say the guy can’t punch.
Like him or hate him but what he says is true. Everyone else wanted more time or was injured. Sonnen is the UFCs ultimate opportunist I’ll give him credit for that.
You deserve the shot and to offer to take a fight champion ship fight on 8 days notice is so old school there is no way you will see this again with the pre-madonas in the “big show”. I always respected Chael skills but I am a true fan today.
I just hope Chael can make it a competitive fight. I hate JBJ and would love to see the biggest upset in recent MMA history or maybe of all time.
