Six UFC on FOX 4 Main Card Fighters Receive Medical Suspensions | UFC NEWS

The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) issued its list of medical suspensions for UFC on Fox 4 which took place on Sat., August 4, 2012, from the Staple Center in Los Angeles, California.  Check out the official results and med suspensions below

Phil De Fries vs. Oli Thompson

Official Result:Phil De Fries defeats Oli Thompson by face crank at 4:16 of round two

Oli Thompson: 180 days no contest, 180 days no contact, or cleared by physician; nasal fracture

Phil Davis vs. Wagner Prado 

Official Result:Phil Davis and Wagner Prado go to No Decision (Eye Poke), 1:22 of round one

Wagner Prado: indefinite; needs opthamlogical clearance

Nam Phan vs Cole Miller

Official Result: Nam Phan defeats Cole Miller by a split decision. The judges scored the fight 29-28 Phan, 29-28 Miller, 29-28 Phan

Cole Miller: 45 days no contest, 30 days no contact; hard bout
Cole Miller: 60 days no contest, 60 days no contact, or cleared by physician; right hand, left middle finger
Cole Miller: 60 days no contest, 60 days no contact, or cleared by physician; suborbital cut

Mike Swick vs. DaMarques Johnson

Official Result:Swick defeats Johnson via knockout Round 2 1:20

Jamie Varner vs. Joe Lauzon

    I wonder why they say 6 months no contest unless cleared by a physician? The commission should just leave it up to drs’ discretion period
