This Saturday on FOX, Nate Diaz and Jim Miller square off in the UFC on FOX 3 main event. The two both want a shot at gold, however Frankie Edgar is next up for a crack at the newly crowned champ Benson Henderson.
Should the winner of this weekend’s contest be put behind Edgar for a shot at the title?

If Nate wins then I think he should get a shot at the winner of Henderson/Edgar II. If Miller wins then he should fight Pettis first and the winner of that fight should take on the winner of Henderson/Edgar II. Either way, I hope the winner of the Bendo/Edgar fight wins more decisively this time around.
+1! Exactly my thoughts as well! Diaz has beaten top 10 and top 5 guys. If he beats (and I absolutely think he will) Miller this Saturday, then Nate deserves a shot! BUT, because Miller got owned by Ben Henderson already, he should have to get thru Pettis to get that #1 spot back.

Depending on how this fight goes and how fast Pettis recovers they could set up a no.1 contender fight between the winner of this and Pettis around the same time as bendo and fankie 2.
everybody sayin miller got destroyed by bendo but thats halfway true first it went to decision and second lets remember he was sick and had mono during that fight and it was still a good fight and he choked out guillard to get his spot back so yea the winner gets title shot i wonder who the people who said no would put in

Winner should fight Pettis, only if it’s Diaz though. Plus that gives them something to do while waiting for winner of Edgar vs. Henderson II. Diaz vs Pettis could be around the same time as Edgar vs. Henderson anyways.

Yes if Diaz beats Miller. Miller and Pettis can fight for next title contender. I see Bendo beating up Frankie, again. Jim Miller has been 1 win away from a title shot for a long time it seems. A Diaz/Bendo match-up intrigues me, though i think Bendo would take it.
LW has been halted long enough with all these Edgar rematches that shuffled the number one contender slot. Give the winner the shot and get this division going again!

Pettis didn’t have a good game plan against Guida, but didn’t get whooped. Pettis once again added to his highlight reel, with a vicious knockout over Louzan. Pettis is owed a title shot .
