Shogun Wouldn’t Mind Machida Trilogy Or Coaching TUF Brazil

“Of course it is my great desire to do a TUF, which is a program where people see everything that passes the fighter. Lyoto would make it even more interesting, is a top category, and consider how good this third fight, will sell a lot. Actually it was suggested that the UFC Rampage, who accepted, but had to operate the knees. So do not want to ask anyone, I fight anyone. I want that belt back, so I cannot choose opponent. But surely it would be great to face Lyoto. I’m waiting for the definition of the UFC, who promised that I would fight in June or July.”
Former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua tells Brazilian Media outlet, Portal Do Vale Tudo, that he is open to coaching “The Ultimate Fighter” and he is open to coaching it opposite Lyoto Machida and completing their bound to happen trilogy.

Perhaps the only rubber match worth a damn.
much love to shogun he is the definition of a real mma fighter I’ll watch if he fights anyone
the one and only! WAR S H O G U N !
Have Shogun vs Phil Davis.
very interesting matchup
phil davis is NEVER interesting besides in collegiate wrestling. sorry.
Machida would win, look at the Machida that faced Jones, and the Shogun that faced Henderson
yeah Machida got choked out and shogun lost a very arguable decision good point on the mma math how about shogun beat Machida 2 times because he was robbed in there first fight
+1
make it happen. Machida vs Rua 3
+1
I would rather Machida vs Gustaffson if he loses to Silva. I am 100% sure Shogun would KO Machida again.
respect to shogun a real fighter who’ll fight anyone
Machida won the first round against J.Jones
myth!
Hard to argue.
It is a great matchup with two amazing fighters, I’d buy that card.
I’d also imagine it would be a very popular TUF for brazilian fans
that would be a good idea for tuf
I agree with you guys it would be a good idea for TUF, but do you think Machida would like to face Shogun for the third time, because Shogun obviously has Machida’s number figure out. Of course it’s possible that Machida would like to redeem himself but I don’t think he would stand a chances.
I would much rather like to see Machida vs Hendo, that is if Machida can get a title run going on, because Hendo will be the champion in six months or so
I’m not entirely sure that Machida has a chin. He runs away a lot and when he gets rocked he doesn’t recover well. Hendo could take him if he is patient and waits till later rounds when Machida is tired and KO him.
I would like to see Rashad vs Machida 2.
I’d like to see the new and improved Rashad vs the same old Machida to see just how much he has improved.
Yeah but Hendo would most probably gas out because Machida is so hard to hit. All those missed power punches would wear Hendo down. I can’t remember seeing a fight where Machida is very tired, so I guess his conditioning is very good. But of course if Hendo would be able to hit Machida with a proper punch Machida would definitely be out, but that’s the same with all Hendo’s opponents. I actually think Hendo could KO Roy Nelson
But it might be a boring fight, Hendo just waiting for his change and Machida keeping the distance, doesn’t sound good when I think about it.
You’re absolutely right Machida vs Evans II would most probably be a more interesting fight. I would put my money on Evans.
If Hendo chases him around for 5 rounds (if this is a main event) he’ll gas himself out. But, Hendo is too smart for that. In a 3 round fight Machida most likely will win by decision.
Idk about Hendo KO’ing Roy! According to his Wiki he has only been KO’ed by Arlovski. That’s crazy though he has only been KO’ed once and all of his other losses are by decision! He has the best chin in MMA! JDS couldn’t KO Roy! Roy is a beast and I hope he defeats Big Foot in an impressive fashion.
Yeah I know Roy probably has the best chin in MMA (the whole world for that manner) hence the smiley face. I saw his fights against Werdum and JDS and I just couldn’t be leave what I was seeing. How that guy survived those fights is beyond me. Werdum probably isn’t a very heavy puncher but those knees of his are devastating.
I just said that Hendo could KO Roy to show how much I believe in his heavy hands.
I agree, hope that Roy wins Bigfoot
Machida if he had an “iron chin” he would win the J.Jones or decision to the judges!
Shogun even losing, its the fighting him are very violent!
