Sergio Pettis remains undefeated (w/ video) | MMA News

The Legends of Fighting Championship “Memorium” took place in Indianapolis, Indiana last night. The main event of LFC 53 showcased Sergio Pettis (4-0 MMA) putting his undefeated record on the line against Tom McKenna (5-1 MMA).
The bantamweight match-up resulted in Sergio Pettis tapping out McKenna via guillotine choke at the 3:52 mark of the very first round. At only 18 years of age, Sergio is now 5-0 in his MMA career and will likely start getting some attention from the UFC.
A lot of added pressure is placed on Sergio, being the younger brother of UFC lightweight contender and former WEC lightweight champion Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis. But that pressure has yet to phase young Sergio, as he continues to shine in the shadow of his brothers accomplishments.
When I talked to Anthony about a timeline for Sergio to make his UFC debut, ‘Showtime’ had this to say:
“We don’t want to rush him into it, we want to make sure he’s matured and that his body matures and that he is 100% ready to go. For me and for my whole team we don’t want jobs, we want careers, so we want to last in this sport.”
One thing is certain, and that is that the future of Sergio Pettis is very promising.

holy crap good genetics in that family,he looks just like his big bro Anthony!
Pettis seems impressive i would like to see him in the u!
if he wins 2 or 3 more fights he will get scooped up by the ufc, because of his last name
well that and hes a good fighter
I’m the doucher u can barely see when Sergio steps out of the corner I’m “behind” him basically, gray shorts black/red American fighter shirt
Neway this low quality video does no justice, this kid is sick! I’ve heard the camp talk him up as camps often do, but its deserved 4 this kid he looks like he’s maybe 14 cuz he’s so small! But he landed a body kick that made me cringe, felt bad 4 the other Guy.
I was very impressed in all, I really like the Roufusport team personally & it should be known that Duke & Anthony WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY to make sure it was sergios night by not tryin 2 get any spotlight. I was pretty excited about that.
After the fight I was lucky enough to have Sergio sign a glove & the event ticket & he said “sorry man, my hands are shaky” lol kid just busted some guys ass & choked the shit out of him, I’m not complaining about some shaky hands
I hope good things 4 this kid, seemed real cool
damb the ring girl in the black shorts has good genetics
No she didn’t her face was busted, she had a pouch & she had no ass it was all those shoes & shorts, @ least the other 1 was skinny.
