Sara McMann vs. Sheila Gaff added to UFC 159 | UFC NEWS
The third women’s fight in UFC history has been added to the UFC 159 lineup as Sara McMann and Sheila Gaff will square off in a bantamweight bout.
McMann (6-0) is an Olympic medalist, having won silver in wrestling at the 2004 games. She brings an unblemished mark into the fight. Her most recent victory came against Shayna Baszler at Invicta FC 2, taking the fight by Unanimous Decision.
Sheila Gaff (10-4) comes into the fight as a relative unknown. Currently in the midst of a three fight win streak, all of which have been won by KO, will look to take McMann out to prove she belongs in the UFC. If there is one thing to know about Gaff is that her fights are exciting. Not a single fight she has been in has gone to a decision.
UFC 159 is scheduled to take place on April 27th at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The card is headlined by the much-anticipated Light Heavyweight championship bout between current champion Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen.
