Roy Nelson on Cormier Bout: “I didn’t feel like it was a fight, just a good sparring match”

“Back to the drawing board. I didn’t feel like it was a fight, just a good sparring match. I was back in the gym on Monday. It was a crappy camp. I just got out-pointed. It’s nothing against Daniel [Cormier]. Excellent gameplan, played it to a tee. I just wish I had two more rounds. Daniel won that night and he was the better guy, but I definitely would like to do a rematch. I’d fight anybody I’ve ever lost to.”

In his latest UFC appearance, Roy ‘Big Country’ Nelson dropped a decision to the heavyweight divisions #2 ranked fighter, Daniel Cormier, a fight that the Las Vegas native would love to do again.

But is his assessment of the bout, via Fight Hub TV, accurate?
