Ross Pearson Out; Michael Johnson In Vs. Melvin Guillard At UFN 37

Unfortunately for the London fans who will be attending UFC Fight Night 37 on March 8, one hometown hero will have to pull out of his fight.

Ross Pearson most recently fought Melvin Guillard, in what was a fantastic battle up until the unfortunate illegal knee which caused the fight ending cut on Pearson’s forehead. The fight was ruled a no contest, and the two were set to rematch at UFC Fight Night 37.

It was an anticipated rematch, but it was not to be, as Pearson has suffered a knee injury during his training leading up to the fight.

Now, Blackzilian standout Michael Johnson looks to improve his win streak to three as he steps in to face the always dangerous Melvin Guillard in March.

The full UFC Fight Night 37 card is as follows:

Alexander Gustafsson vs. Jimi Manuwa
Melvin Guillard vs. Michael Johnson
Cyrille Diabate vs. Ilir Latifi
Ian McCall vs. Brad Pickett
Omari Akhmedov vs. Gunnar Nelson
Igor Araujo vs. Danny Mitchell
Brad Scott vs. Claudio Henrique da Silva
Luke Barnatt vs. Mats Nilsson
Louis Gaudinot vs. Phil Harris
Roland Delorme vs. Davey Grant
