Rory MacDonald injured, Out of UFC 158 vs. Condit | UFC NEWS

Rory MacDonald has been forced to withdraw from his fight against Carlos Condit at UFC 158, as reported by Ariel Helwani. The 23-year-old Canadian suffered an undisclosed injury during his training camp for what was already a highly anticipated rematch versus the “Natural Born Killer”.
The welterweights faced each other at UFC 115 in June of 2010. Despite being dominated by MacDonald during almost the whole fight, Condit was able to come back from behind and get a TKO victory with just seven seconds remaining in the third and last round. It still is the lone defeat in MacDonald’s career, as opposed to 14 wins, including 4 in a row.
The UFC still seeks a replacement to go against Condit, who is expected to remain on the card. The former WEC champion looks to rebound after an unanimous decision loss to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 154.
UFC 158 will go down at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on March 16th, when “GSP” will put his belt on the line against Nick Diaz.

I’m pretty sure Woodley said at the post-fight press conference that if anyone in the tournament would get injured, that he’d step in
Hendricks x Condit
Maia x Ellenberg
DEMIAN MAIA SIMPLE AS THAT!
Matt Brown…
Woodley vs ellenburger
Mia vs condit
That would be dope
I’m thinking Maia or Woodley.
I say bj penn steps in for this one. Why not?
Because BJ just got done having eye surgery and has not been training hard for a fight. It would be a foolish move for BJ to even think of doing that, which BJ is way too intelligent to do consider making such a move my friend.

DW just said UFC is going to test fighters during their camps.
Hmmmm… very interesting point.
only the guys on TUE(Therapeutic Use Exemption) for TRT. He said those guys would be tested to make sure they arent cheating by upping the dosages in camp. Pretty sure Rory Mac dont have a TUE at age 23..
Oh ok I thought every fighter. Thnx for the heads up.
2 camps in a row where Rory has pulled out early?hmmm.
