Rockhold Seeks closure With A Potential Jacare Rematch | MMA NEWS

“[There will be] many more [defenses] to come. I’m not giving it up. I’ll be damned if anybody takes this belt from me. There are quite a few new middleweights in the division now, like Lorenz Larkin and Roger Gracie, but I think ‘Jacare’ is the most likely challenger, as long as he wins [his August bout against Derek Brunson]. Our fight needs closure, and I’d like to have a chance to finish it.”
In a recent interview with sherdog.com, Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold expressed his desire to rematch the man who he won his belt from, Jacare Souza.
The original fight was close and apparently it wasn’t a satisfying win for the champ. But will his skill set enable him to rectify the issue or will Jacare get the upper hand on him in a rematch?
