Road to Marquez: LA, 23 Days Remain!

By Keith Terceira
With just twenty three days remaining until the two warriors meet , both Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez are putting their finishing touches on conditioning.
Alex Ariza spoke with Manny concerning increasing his roadwork, comparing his results in bouts that Pacquiao increased his road work with the bouts that he did his normal running. Pacquiao didn’t look that he would enjoy adding more time on the track.
Ariza compared his track work when Pacquiao knocked out De La Hoya and Hatton , then compared it to the Mosely fight and others where the track work was nearly non-existent, it makes for good viewing in MP8.ph videos.
Three weeks out from training and the champ is cut and ripped, as he has said step by step his conditioning would improve and it has. The transformation from Pacquiao – Baguio training, and the current looks of MP are visually apparent. The thickening around his waist line that really was not that pronounced is now gone. Speed has increased to the point that if the bout was tomorrow Pacquiao would be ready.
