Road to Marquez: LA, 19 Days Remain!
Juan Manuel Marquez is working hard, both in the gym, and in the media, to assure his fans that he will be prepared for this final bout with Manny Pacquiao, and the chatter in the press ratchets up on a daily basis.
Like two locomotives in those old train wreck films back in the nineteenth century, when people lined the tracks to watch a wreck, these two warriors are training hard to collide. Unlike the train wrecks this bout will not be a disaster it may be the savior of pay per view boxing this year.
Yesterday Pacquiao reiterated to me that the Marquez bout is not, in his mind, all that is being written about.
“There’s nothing personal, just gonna do my job. This is going to be a very important fight”
