Reagan Penn Returns To MMA Action November 5 Alongside Other Notables

Just one week after his older brother faces Nick Diaz at UFC 137; Reagan Penn will enter the cage in his second professional Mixed Martial Arts contest.
ProElite II is set to go down November 5th from the iWireless Center in Moline Illinois. Five-time Champ Tim Sylvia will meet Pedro Rizzo in the evening’s main event and a featured bout between Andrei Arlovski and Travis Fulton will serve as the co-headliner.
BJPENN.COM confirmed the details with sources close to the event this afternoon.
The ProElite promotion recently resurged with their first ever event under the ProElite 2.0 moniker this past August in Honolulu Hawaii. The event was headlined by a Kendall Grove vs. Joe Riggs rematch and locally was a success in both attendance and entertainment.
Reagan Penn made his MMA debut against Paul Gardiner on the aforementioned ProElite 2.0 card this past August with a successful rear naked choke victory over his opponent in just one-minute and ten seconds of the very first round. While his last opponent boasted a three-fight unbeaten streak heading into the fight it was Gardiner who was outmatched in every aspect of the bout.
No opponent has been named for the Penn brother just yet, but talks with ProElite officials are ongoing and the matchmaking department is currently working on finalizing the full fight card set for November 5.
Reagan will be looking to take a step up in competition as he continues to prove he belongs in talks as a viable threat to the sports best athletes.
We will keep you posted as the story develops.

They should give him somebody legit this time. He put that other guy away too easy. I want to see him fight Ben Askren. The boring wrestler against a BJJ ace. That would be a good fight!
i agree hopefully his next opponent will propel him further up the ranks. gotta get um in ufc. maybe TUF. school all those doods and get that 6 figa contract. if he is a PENN, he is a BEAST. guaranz they all train together and share similar style. i like see reagan in the ufc tearin it up.

In Illinois, that’s solid. I live about an hour from there too. Transplant from big island. I’ll be there to support a local Braddah. Shoots
