Randy Couture: I Sonnen and Henderson would fight each other

Randy Couture believes light heavyweight #1 contender Chael Sonnen and teammate Dan Henderson would fight each other if need be.
“They’ve wrestled each other for a spot on the Olympic team, they’re wrestlers at the end of the day and now they’re fighters, they’re professionals, this is what we do. I think they’d be friends before, they’d be friends after but they’d go out there and compete and they know each other pretty well and it’d be an interesting competition. I think they’d both put it on the line and fight when it came down to it.”
Henderson, who had to pull out of a fight with Jon Jones due to an MCL injury, is now the assistant coach of Chael Sonnen on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, coaching opposite Jon Jones. Sonnen and Jones will go to war on April 27th in Newark New Jersey.
