Randy Couture: Dana White Crossing The Line With My Family

“I don’t take any of that personal. I don’t really tune into the underground and all that other stuff. People come to me and they say, ‘Oh, he said this and he said that.’ I don’t care; I know what the truth is. I know how I have treated people, how I tried to treat them. And yeah, fighting with them to get a fair shake and be told the truth and, it’s been a struggle all along, from ancillary rights down the line. I don’t take any of that personal. I don’t really tune into it. In the day-to-day running of my life, it’s a small thing. But, when you start talking about somebody’s kids and their family, yeah, you’re crossing the line. I don’t think he would like it if I did those sorts of things to him. I know his wife, I know his kids.

He’s got my sons fate in his hands in some way here. With Ryan competing and not allowing me to continue to progress and work with my son in his fight career is ridiculous and that bothers me. It bothers me that he could affect my son’s livelihood. My son has earned his spot. Ryan has done the work, he has the passion for the sport and he’s doing all of the right things. So for him to be hindered and hampered by Dana and Dana’s feelings towards me, it isn’t fair and that bothers me.”

randy is all class while dana is the complete opposite

  2. BX81 says:

Dana is gonna get what he has coming to him, if he continues to mis treat these guys who put way more money in his pocket than he put in theirs.

  3. tomown says:

What did Randy actually do wrong though? Until we know what that is it’s gona be hard to judge whether or not Dana over-reacted.

  4. Branden says:

I say Randy and Dana have a match to settle things and when Dana get beat into a bloody pulp he admits that he has been a douch to a lot of his talent that keeps his paycheck coming

  5. Chris says:

If it really bothers you Randy and if you truly care about your son’s livelihood and career then be the bigger man and mend that bridge with Dana. Some times in outlives we have to eat crow. Randy you have to ask yourself, is it better for you to be right than to be happy? From your rant it sounds like you’re not happy.

  6. jpzro says:

Dana’s ego is going up in his head.

  7. Chris Cooksey says:

All respect to Randy but don’t bite the hand that feeds you. If my son worked for my employer and I switched while he stayed I sure as hell wouldn’t be allowed to go on a sales call with him or attend the x- mas party.

  8. kris kale says:

heres the deal…let couure’s son go against dana….would love to see another couture get in the ring. UFC is lonely without couture. UFC was made by people like couture. not dana. kiss my ass dana white
