Ramsey Nijem Set To Face C.J. Keith At UFC on FX 4
A lightweight contest has been added to the growing UFC on FX 4 card in the form of Ramsey Nijem vs. C.J. Keith.
While not yet officially announced by UFC officials, UFC on FX 4 is expected to go down at The Revel Entertainment Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey on June 22. In the headlining slot, top lightweight contenders Gray Maynard and Clay Guida will square off in a five-round affair.
Nijem was slated to fight Anthony Njokuani this past December but an injury forced the Ultimate Fighter season 13 finalist off the card and out of action. He last saw the inside of a cage at UFC 137 where he was able to take out Danny Downed with an impressive performance.
Facing Nijem will be undefeated UFC newcomer C.J. Keith. Keith has been signed to the UFC for some time, however his debut was delayed when his family house caught fire and was forced to deal with a fight outside the cage. He brings into his UFC debut a perfect 8-0 record.
It is unknown where on the card this bout will take place.
