Rampage Jackson: The UFC Hated My Guts After Liddell KO

“Dana White really wanted me because I was the last guy Chuck (Liddell) wanted to get his revenge on. Everybody was really nice to me, I’m telling you when I beat up Marvin Eastman, everybody, people behind the scenes at the UFC they’re really like a big family. Chuck was part of the family. They was all really nice to me, like a hog going to the slaughter, and then after I beat Chuck, right away, like 90 percent of them hated my guts. They didn’t talk to me no more, they didn’t smile at me when I came back there, it made me feel awkward.”

Former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Rampage Jackson, told Bleacher Report that he worked in an awkward environment at the UFC following his championship earning KO over legend, Chuck Liddell.

Does this guy ever shut up? Enough is enough. We get it, the UFC sucks. Now please go fade away.

  2. Dddddddd says:

They probably did. I know I hated him for that, but I got over it. That’s when learned anyone can lose(Anderson).
I thought he was a mutant.

Honestly rampage used to be one of my favorite fighters… All he’s done recently is just complain complain. Some of it was justified and acceptable but holy fuck; the UFC did so much for this dude. They built his name up and positioned him to be one of the top pulls. I don’t even want to get started on everything EXTRA the ufc did for him that they didn’t have to do.

Rampage didn’t evolve with the sport, it’s as simple as that. The ufc didn’t make him lose his fights. The ufc didn’t force him out of the company.

As the other dude said, enough is enough already.

Agreed, man. They also didn’t make him refuse to use or defend leg kicks, or hide candy bars under his pillow when he’s weight cutting. His game doesn’t work at the top level anymore and he wants to blame someone else for that.
