Rampage Fed Up With Pro Wrestling Haters

“People don’t understand how tough it is. It hurts. It hurts hitting the ropes. Getting slammed… All that stuff hurts. It’s like being a live stunt man… I saw a guy get hurt. I saw it with my own two eyes. The guy got hurt and he still had to keep going. He got hurt for real and then later they put him back stage and took him to the hospital. You have to trust the other guy not to hurt you. I’m second-guessing, what if that shit happened to me and then I have to go fight?”

“I really respect those guys. A lot of people hate on pro wrestling. They say ‘that’s fake.’ It’s not really fake. It’s entertainment. It’s not really fake, but if they want to hate on pro wrestlers and call it fake then they shouldn’t watch any action movies at all. Action movies are the fakest things.”

Following his UFC leave, Rampage Jackson made a deal with Viacom to join the Bellator and TNA roster.

Fed up with the wrestling haters, he took to a Bellator media event to give his take on what he calls entertainment.

  4. KS says:

Sakuraba is a pro wrestler. He joined MMA to prove that pro wrestlers are strong and not fake. Guess what, he punished the Gracie’s, beat Rampage and kicked Randleman’s a$$.

  5. Eddie Rabid Dementia Brito says:

Legit, everyone seems to of missed the point of what he said. It’s “fake” because the fights are predetermined? Same goes for movies. Rednecks on steroids? Where? Fake hitting. Same goes for movies. Olympic wrestling? Seriously? WWE isn’t based off pure grappling, who the hell likes to watch an MMA bout that’s 98% ground game? That shit is boring. Grappling overall is boring. WWE is about fun and flashy. Only heterosexual men dislike wrestling? I’m pretty sure I’m heterosexual and I love wrestling. I grew up around it and my family always loved it too. This has nothing to do with homosexuality, you’re just being close-minded.
