QuickTwitt: Vinny Magalhaes Doesn't Want The M-1 Title, Asks For Return To UFC

M-1 light-heavyweight champion, Vinny Magalhaes recently defended his title at this past weekend’s M-1 event and did so in spectacular fashion (check the video entry below).

The victory market his seventh win in his past eight fights and apparently the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace wants a second shot in the UFC.

He detailed his reasoning recently on MixedMartialArts.com.

“After rewatching the whole fight, i just realized that every time I fought for M-1 against a Russian fighter, I was the handpicked guy… I mean, I am assuming that after seeing one of the M-1 directors rooting for my opponent every time he’d hit me, but not having any reaction when I’d hit him nor when dropped him. Thanks M-1, I appreciate your business, you can have your belt back.”

That was a nasty head kick, with all of his weight into it! Don’t know much about M-1, but I’m starting to get the idea that it is a corrupt organization. Am I wrong, or no?

  4. adrian says:

questionable kick. looks like unintentional to the back of the head.
