Former Pride and UFC fighter Phil Baroni took to Twitter this weekend to call out former WWE star CM Punk.

CM Punk has made headlines in the past week following an interview where he explained his departure from the WWE and expressed that he had not ruled out the possibility of trying professional MMA.

Baroni (15-17), who last fought in May for One FC, called out the wrestler to be his first opponent – and for the two of them to fight in Bellator.

I’ll fight @CMPunk in @BellatorMMA @BjornRebney. No better fight

It’s already been reported that Bellator has looked into signing CM Punk, so whether CEO Bjorn Rebney jumps on this offer or not remains to be seen.
