QUICK TWITT | Jon Jones Makes More Money Than Both NFL Brothers Combined

In the great debate of fighter pay, there is no comparison between the boxing elite and the MMA elite.

Just look at the check Floyd Mayweather Jr. just got for his 12-round battle against Canelo Alvarez.

In a different sport, the two brothers of Jon Jones, who both competed in last years NFL super-bowl, took to twitter to proclaim that the UFC champion actually makes more than both of them combined.

Here it is:

  1. UFC 84 Forever says:

Very interesting. Wonder if it will dismiss anyone questioning fighter pay? Naw. Definitely not.

    • Mark says:

No, because the issue with fighter pay obviously isn’t with the top tier fighters. Don’t be dumb

    • Kole says:

Yeah because since Jon Jones who is sponsored by Nike and Gatorade makes more than his two brothers who are good football players but not anything special must mean all the fighters who are in the ufc get paid well. His money is coming from the sponsors and the fact that hes a fucking champion on the main card…

    • Again.. says:

He doesn’t make more from fighter pay! It’s probably all from sponsers, etc. no reason to dismiss questioning fighter pay.

  2. Big J says:

…of course not, this is only one fighter, who gets pay per view shares + sponsorships from Gatorade and Nike. How about the other fighters, though?

  3. Roman says:

Impossible for them to both play in the same Super Bowl, one is on the Ravens and the other is on the Patriots. Get your facts straight.

  4. HBomb says:

With nike and Gatorade sponsoring him im quite sure that bones isn’t hurting for money. That’s outside fighter pay from ufc.
