Quick Twitt | Gegard Mousasi Hints At Shift To Middleweight

Fresh off his UFC debut victory in Sweden, former Strikeforce light-heavyweight champion, Gegard Mousasi took to twitter to poll the fans on their thoughts of a move to middleweight.

Mousasi made his name in the 185 pound division before jumping up to 205. Most notably, he won the DREAM middleweight grand prix which included a fighting field the likes of Jacare Souza and Melvin Manhoef. He was also able to secure gold as the DREAM middleweight champion before making the full shift to Strikeforce as a light-heavyweight fighter.

    ^Casual fan.

Mousasi is legit but you don’t know him. He will get a titleshot and then you’ll jump on his bandwagon.

  3. Gargoyle Wrestling says:

Gegard would be awesome at 85. He was waaaaay to conservative in his last fight, but we got to see that lightning quick jab he;s got. Still think the wrestlers at 85 or 05 will be sending him home a loser, But let’s see when he gets healthy. Plenty of potential, but the guy who should have finished his last opponent in rd 1 or 2 shows up against a top 10 UFC guy, will lose.

Gregar was easy on his last opponent once he knew he was a class above , he would clean house at 85 him vs Anderson is a lot more appealing then wideman to me
