  1. EP says:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Frankie couldnt finish a Ham and Cheese Sandwich …. and he is talking about finishing a fighter who has never been finished …

Frankie will do what he did first two fights, in which first one he shouldnt have got the W… he will circle and jab and run around …

If anyone is getting finished it will be Frankie, not BJ!

LETS GO BJ TEAM HAWAII PRODIGY ALL DAY !!!

  2. Adam says:

Penn is going to get smashed… He should stay where he belongs… retired!

Each time he comes back he gets smashed and it kills a bit of that incredible legacy he has. He should stop coming back and just retire with class and the love of the fans he deserves..

  3. T.Daddy says:

Sez the guy who never finishes anybody… lol.. BJ just gotta land one big shot and it’s over… BJ won’t pull a Maynard.. Bj will finish Frankie

    • 757 says:

Except he finished Gray Maynard the bully who was supposed to be the next killer in that division. Sorry T. Daddy you are wrong

      • The Way Of The Dutchman says:

Gray Maynard is overrated, was hyped up at the time and still beat Edgar two out of three. Third time he didn’t want to risk another stupid judges decision and went all out to knock Edgar out and during that process he got caught himself.
        .
Edgar knows how to take a punch and knows how to steal rounds in the eye of moronic incompetent judges. That’s about it.

  4. The Way Of The Dutchman says:

Edgar is the one who should retire, he has had too many blows to the head. He’s starting to talk nonsense.

    • UFC 84 Forever says:

      Rock on Dutchman!!

    • funnysheet says:

As much as I agree with you, I think its penn who should retire.. He’s 1-4-1 in the last 6 fights… Hes hurting his “legacy” more then helping it in the last few years

    • 757 says:

Sorry Dutchman almost doesn’t count. He knocked maynard out…period. I like BJ he is one of my favorites but he has taken a beating. He will do the same at this one too. It’s over no shame move on. Excuses man excuses

  5. nats871 says:

Edgar getting finished…. Wow, never thought Id see so many dumb comments in my life. Yeah of course you know, because Aldo and Maynard did finish Edgar at one time….. I like Penn, but you guys are the craziest fans ever, thats like the fans that said Ken Shamrock had a chance in the 3rd fight against Ortiz. I agree with the first fight, that Penn won, But if Frankie fights a guy a 3rd time, its gonna be just like Maynard, a fucking K.O.!!

  6. Silver Spider says:

Bj Penn is my favorite fighter of all time, but seriously this is a bad match up for him. I don’t want to watch this fight because I don’t wanna see him get out-pointed and embarrased. BJ never fought in 145 division before and the first fight there he’s fighting Edgar who has had 2 fights already. THis is not going to end well. I’m hoping he destroys Edgar and then destroys ALdo and retire but that’s wishful thinking.

  7. Night-Wind says:

After this fight, STILL never been knocked out or submitted.

  8. 757 says:

Bj will need some major trt for this fight before edgar smashes him. Edgar by ko rd 2

  9. Punisher says:

I jus hope he can make the weight cut in a healthy manner. Then he’s gotta figure out how to catch Frankie. Its a winnable fight for BJ but not an easy one by any means.

  10. brandon says:

Bj is an idiot for coming back against frankie. Bj is washed and has no chance at the featherweight title, he wont even come close to getting past frankie. I see this fight ending like the mauling gsp put on bj when he wimped out and threw in the towel between rnds. Sorry to break it to all you bj nuthuggers but old bj was ok in His time but present day ufc is no place for him, I doubt he could even hang in bellator. This will be all she wrote for bj, time for permanent retirement.

  11. UFC 84 Forever says:

To all the haters on BJ you gotta remember.

When’s the last time we saw a 100% BJ Penn at a weight class he was actually suited for? At 155, the guys got bigger. At 145 the guys are the perfect size for BJ to lay the smack on his opponents (and the cut will force him to be in good shape).

This is best case scenario for the Prodigy! We will see a prodigy we haven’t seen in YEARS!

  12. 757 says:

Maybe fight at 135 or 125 or whatever other fucking weight you want him to fight at where he doesn’t get the shit beat out of himself. Nobody is hating on BJ they are just stating facts. He was bigger than Edgar at 155 and still got owned. Great fighter BJ but when it’s over it’s over…Shame on Dana for throwing him in just to make a buck on him. Just last time out he was encouraging BJ to quit..

  13. Dan Jenkins says:

Good luck BJ hope you get one back all the best

  14. confucius says:

dont understand why frankie would accept a fight where hes 2-0 against. nothing to prove, if he beats BJ so what, bj isnt ranked in the fw division. bj is a legend but im not sure im ready for another 5 round point fest

  15. doc says:

I would not want to be on this episode of TUF if I was a fighter…

Something tells me there won’t be much coaching going on.

I wonder how he is going to make weight. It would have to be Mike Dolce, and Marinoviche brothers, AND leaving Hawaii for a suitable training regime with suitable partners to make him work.

I could then see him beating up Edgar and winning a title at 145.

But we all know that he won’t do it. So here comes another decision win for Edgar.

But then again, BJ could catchin him once and finish. Unlike Maynard…

  16. Part Time MMA Fan says:

Please win BJ!!! You can do it!!

  17. WAR PENN !! says:

Frankie isn’t finishing anyone any time soon! .. Penn should cardio up, and go for the jugular this time! hare and hound! chase and kill! .. if he does this he will win!

  18. Shonuff says:

Just because BJ loss those first two fights certainly doesn’t mean Edgar won them. BJ was never in danger of being finished. He just got annoyed and frustrated and gave up more less. If BJ can make weight, its on… Not sure what would happen in the 145 155 with either Pettis or Aldo… bottom line is he needs the old man coaches that coached him for the Sanchez fight. if he gets them… he might start fucking people up again. :)

  19. aha says:

Penn was robbed in the first 2 fights and has nothing to prove in yet another one where his odds of getting robbed again are pretty high. Edgar vs. Maynard 4 would be more interesting, Penn vs. Hendricks would be awesome.
