Quick Twitt | Diego Sanchez Hints At Gomi Booking | UFC NEWS

Looks like “The Nightmare” turned “The Dream”, Diego Sanchez is set on making his way back down to the UFC’s lightweight division.

The Greg Jackson trained fighter went on a great lightweight run in his last divisional appearance but was halted by then champion BJ Penn and decided he’s better suited as a welterweight.

As luck would have it, and maybe with the absence of Penn, Sanchez is ready to try his luck at 155 pounds again.

Here is what he said about his next possible matchup:

  1. Thom says:

Rather see diego vs guida 2

    • JRE says:

if guida wasn’t dropping to featherweight and fighting Hioki that would be awesome… but personally I wanted Diego to fight Jim Miller before he stepped up and took the Lauzon fight.

    • GET RID OF FITCH (forever) says:

Too bad the “YES” man doesn’t have stones to call out a contender.

OFF TOPIC: Rockhold out injured. We all know better he doesn’t want to risk losing to someone who will do nothing for his career and just wants to go into UFC as strikeforce champ just like Melendez is doing

  2. Noel McNally says:

Would like him to fight the winner of BJ v MacDonald

  3. KendelRhodes says:

If Nate wins, Penn will drop again to win the title and beat up another Diaz. This guy should take on Dustin Rhodes, Dream vs American Dream, or even Gold Dust.
