  1. Thom says:

why does dana always say shit like this when its not even true? why make your own fighters look bad? makes no sense.

  2. 123 says:

hes doing it alot lately for some reason

  3. toto says:

wow i always had mad respect for dana, but now, its just wow… dude, who wants to deal with that? no one.

  4. KIDD433 says:

I doubt Hunt, turned down the fight.Probably just tried to negotiate the date of the fight, and Dana may have blew it out of proportion

  5. squid says:

i guess this is dana trying to be the promoter … but this doesn’ make sense at all. it seems these days most of the shit that comes out of dana’s mouth is bs

    • Scotty says:

He’s a promoter, he’s always said BS but people didnt see it! It’s what promoters do, they are never wrong and they will say things to make themselves look good.. Just like he said “no women wanted to fight rousey, just Liz” that’s BS, cause both Tate and McCann said they never received an offer.. Dans just wanted to give Rousey an “easy” win.. Just like it seems now he doesn’t want Hunt to fight JDS.. He wants JDS vs. Overeem cause its more money and can market the hell of it cause there is some bad blood.. I don’t believe alot stuff that comes from Dana’s mouth..

  6. Mike B says:

Hunt is a true fighter, has that bushido spirit.ive always been a fan of hunt,I highly doubt he turned down that fight.Man I miss pride fc!

  7. Gargoyle Wrestling says:

Here’s how it probably went down. A UFC underlingucalls Hunt’s manager or maybe Hint himself and says you wanna fight JDS for your current Hunt money? Hunt then says hell no, I want more money than you usually pay me. Then the UFC underling says ok, I’ll go ask the UFC if they will pay you more. Dana gets out of the hot tub and is told that Hunt turned down the JDS fight for his current salary and wants more money to fight JDS. So Dana, to make sure Hunt takes the fight, gets on twitter and says he turned it down as of now. Meaning that Hunt wants the fight and wants more money. So then Dana actually gets on the phone with Hunt says hell yah I’ll give you more money if you take this fight and all is good with the world. That’s how it probably went down!!!??

  8. confucius says:

dana white is the new don king

  9. GRT 3000 says:

Hunt’s the man! too bad abt father time catching up…hopefully the UFC will get him a good top ten b4 it’s too late. like the 1 year lay-away shit needs to stop at this point in his career.

  10. SimplyPhy says:

Dana’s a good guy. Watch a bit more of him and you’re likely to gather the same conclusion. He speaks the truth to the best of his ability, and is in a position of power great enough to provide truths that others often have little or no knowledge of.

  11. Nunya says:

Don’t really care what powers or knowledge Dana has, this bad mouthing a fighter is bullshit on any degree. You can say Mark wants more money or different date for fight instead of saying he turned it down when obviously, Mark Hunt did not turn it down. This makes Dana look like an asshole!

  12. KIDD433 says:

    @gargoyle…Right on.This is the 1st time I heard u say anything intelligent

  13. The Way Of The Dutchman says:

UFC really wants the Overeem-JDS fight to happen. I don’t think JDS-Hunt was ever a real option.
