Quick Twitt: Chris Weidman Loses New York Home In Hurricane Sandy | UFC NEWS
The entire east coast has been hit with a devastating hurricane this week.
While the damage has yet to be fully realized, we know that homes are apparently being destroyed.
UFC light-heavyweight, Ryan Bader, recently reported through twitter that UFC middleweight contender Chris Weidman lost his home.

Anyway, it sucks that Weidman lost his house. I kinda know what it’s like, we lost our house in the floods (late 2010 / early 2011) here in Australia.
The hurricane was definitely devastating.Me being from new haven Connecticut an hour away from New York,we got hit hard to.100,000 people lost power in ct alone and I live about 10 blocks away from the beach,so when high tide hit about 12:00 last night we can actually see the ocean water flowing down the street.surprisingly I didn’t even lose power or get much damage to my property but a lot of other did.Feel bad for Weidman tho,and the rest of the people from the east coast.

Im from the north east also but this time was very lucky to have been unscathed! I hope they evacuated and nobody was hurt!! My regards to him and his family and everyone else that was affected by Hurricane Sandy!!!!!

I live in Southern VA and we got a little rain and wind. Still have power and my home. This is why ill never live real close to and big body of water or anywhere that has the potential to be flooded.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Chris and his family and all victims families all along the east coast who got hit by storm. Myself, being a New Yorker, living in Downtown Manhattan… the damage and destruction and i witnessed over past few days has been beyond devastating. Our building lobby was flooded 3 feet of water, garage flooded , all cars submerged in the water, oil tanks exploded in the cellar of building, causing gas oil smell through-out, no power or water, for past 2 days, and saying not for 5+ days, store fronts blown to pieces and stores completely destroyed, Seaport and all its stores was looted badly by the scum of the earth… water levels in downtown manhattan reached 10 feet at some point on monday night. Rivers flowing like it was straight out of a movie. Long Island and NJ got hit extremely bad as well. God Bless.

Sux for his loss, and I do wish him and his family well. But title shots are earned, not given out of pity. He’s proved himself in the lower echalon of the MW div, now he has to fight his way through the top tiers of the MW div. There are still other tougher, more seasoned, and title hunting MW contenders between him and Silva.

Who cares about Weidman? That’s his East Coast home, he has a home elsewhere as well. **** him. I wish I had houseS instead of a house.
