I couldn’t agree more… Over the last few years I’ve gone from a Chael hater to someone who is the exact opposite.

As much as I enjoy the insults hurled by Chael, it’s still not fair to the other fighters who are waiting in line for the opportunity for the shot at the title.
Actually fighting his way up instead of talking his way into big fights is probably best and fair to the other MMA fighters who deserve it just the same.
Yet everyone had an chance during the 151/152 debucle yet only Sonnen and Belfort were willing to step up. So I’m all for someone who’s willing to step up against someone that others are afraid to fight.

No denying Chael’s heart or physical attributes, but his last two fights were less than what was expected. The only reason this fight iwas considered , was due to panic responses from Dana White. I believe it was wrong for Dana White to offer a fight with JBJ just because he asked for it to save the event. That was idiotic.
On another note. Vitor came close. Had he pulled a Frank Mir, he would be LHW Champ. Much props to Vitor Belfort. JBJ got lucky. Jones dominated the fight other wise, but that armbar was sweet!
