Despite a gutsy and entertaining performance against Paul Kelly at UFC 95, the UFC released Troy "Rudeboy" Mandaloniz today. He was informed of the news early this morning via email. "I thought I showed them what I was made of, but I guess not. I don' think I see too many other fighters out there fighting with the same passion and intensity that I bring".

Despite the surprising news, "Rudeboy" still hopes for a return to the UFC in the future. "I'm a fighter that people want to see fight and maybe one day after I prove myself again I could be back in the UFC". Mandaloniz leaves the UFC with a record of 1-1 inside the octagon and an overall record of 3-2. His exciting fighting style and colorful personality should make him a welcome addition to any organization.

troy .. you'll be back in the ufc.. when they realize they made a mistake... unfortunately the ufc is a tyrant organization... i think they're business ethics are bad for the sport of mma.. but good for financial aspects.. its a shame when we're seeing who will sell the most tee shirts and not who the better fighter is.

I would love to see Troy fight Mark Moreno. Plus Troy is a draw wherever he fights. Hawaii always supports thier fighters.

I think rude boy put on a hell of a fight but I honestly think Dana is looking down on all the guys who backed out of fighting Mac Danzig on TUF 6. War Machine, Arroyo, Hightower & now Rude Boy all gave up chances to fight in the TUF 6 semis. That stuff always ticks Dana off. They were there to fight, they lost their fights and when they had a shot at a second life they either backed out cause they were affraid or "couldn't make weight" which is cop-out answer.

So I'm not surprised that the rope for Rude Boy was short. Had he agreed to fight Danzig and then caught a beatdown then he'd probably would still be in the UFC. That'd be a dude who "loves to f**king fight" as Dana always says.

Honestly I think maybe Dana is cutting the Hawaiian fighters out of spite for BJ. Dana can't control BJ. If he pisses BJ off, BJ could just retire or leave to another org like Affliction or Strikeforce, etc who pays their fighters significantly better. BJ doesn't give a S#$%^t what Dana says, so what can Dana do? Take it out on BJ's friends. Dana and the Fertita's manage the UFC like the mafia. Since BJ is wealthy they can't strong arm him. BUT they can F$%^k over his boys. Kendal may have a chance because he has a strong fan base, but if Shane doesn't earn the W, they might screw him over as well.
