About Me:

We're crazy people. We love having fun with friends and family as well as making friends with new people we come across. We're not afraid to smile and complement people. Even if that person doesn't acknowledge it...who cares? We have our shares of "downs" but we always seem to find an "up" or better yet, and "up" finds us.

At the moment, we're expecting parents with our first child on the way. It's a boy and we've already picked his name, Jupiter-Syris. Jupiter is a strong and unique name. We searched online and found what his name meant. From www.thinkbabynames.com, it means:

The boy's name Jupiter \j(u)-pi-ter\ is of Latin origin, and its meaning is "the supreme god". Roman mythology: the sky god equivalent to the Greek god Zeus. Lightning bolts were thought to be messages from Jupiter to mortals on earth.
-cool huh?

Now "Syris" is a special case. "Sy" is the name of one of our best friends and, since he's going to be Jupiter's main god-parent, we thought it would be a cool idea to name Jupiter after him. Now the "ris" part. Well...May just added it to "Sy" and the world isnt big enough for two Sy's. And to make this even more Filipino - you know how Filipinos like to merge names - "ris" could be taken from "Ch(ris)" which is Kili's name. I guess we can claim that, we're Filipino, maybe we should fill that box in as one of the Filipino stereotypes.

It's going to be a fun ride into parenthood. We cant wait for the time Joop joins us. There's so many things we're planning to do and teach him. But we're also expecting the unexpected and, that's just something we have to wing as it happens. We're sure Joops going to a load of fun and we're going to embrace the journey we're on at Joops Destination.

**UPDATE**
Jupiter-Syris was born on February 28, 2009 at 3:01am. May's labor lastest about 5 hours, with 10 minutes worth pushing. It was a very surreal yet earth moving even for us. He cries really loud, he's very picky on how anyone carries him, and he makes the most funniest faces. We're very happy to have Jupiter in our lives. Our journey is just beginning...I'm sure it will be a great one.

Interests:

Oddly we share the some of the same interests. Probably the reason why we were meant to meet each other. Cars, Motorcycles, Fights, and the arts. Whether it be Martial Arts and Architecture (in Kili's case) or Tahitian, Hula Dancing, Modeling, or anything else that deals with out door fun (May's hobbies). We've been a part of one of the Drift Scenes pioneers crew - Drift Session - for some time. Since Hawaii Raceway Park had closed, we've been kind of sidelined but we all still keep in touch.
