BJPenn.com has really ramped up since I first arrived. The social-networking features are interesting, and so far for me woefully under-utilized. Just a comment on JKD .. I agree with you that Jun Fan kickboxing as a theoretical base for MMA striking, is a great conceptual framework to build some effective, and unconventional skills. Some people think take it for granted, and think it obvious, saying that .. ya, ya.. Bruce Lee is the man who started it all .. blah blah .. and just blow it off .. and then go back to the old Muay Thai for striking, and BJJ or Wrestling for the ground. They don't understand that JKD is not about techniques, it's about the mind of the fighter... timing, economy of motion, the right tool for the right opponent/target/circumstance.
How goes it???? Work is great but training for my Dec fight is even better. I am leaving nothing to chance. Crying while training= smilins while u compete.
