POLL | Who Really Won, GSP or Hendricks?

Two short days ago we all witnessed a great fight with a very controversial outcome in GSP vs. Hendricks.

UFC hall-of-famer Matt Hughes went as far as to call it the worst decision in MMA history.

I, for one, gave the edge to GSP after five rounds, but I know I’m in the minority.

So this week I could not think of a better poll than to ask who you guys think deserved the win.

Sound off below and let’s let the best polling system in MMA figure it out:

GSP… rds 1-3-5, two of the judges got it right. Givin the fact that GSP got a 30 day suspension and Hendrix a possible 6 month suspension for a knee injury, (no doubt from some of those leg kicks) GSP takes it with more damage caused as well. Wonder why Johnny didn’t twitt a pic of his right knee???
    BOOM

    • UFC 84 Forever says:

      You got it, brother.

    • Nate "THE ROID CHEAT" Marquardt says:

GSP got his a”s kicked real bad and probably received brain damage. Whats it tell you when one guy can’t remember the fight.

By the way Hendricks isn’t injured already resuming training at end of week via his twitter so you GSP nuthuggers can quit crying and saying he’s out for 6 months.

EVERY MMA website and writers all had Hendricks clearly winning

      GSP took an ass whooping

  2. Miguel Flores says:

One of the reasons why many people who watched the fight believe Hendricks won the fight is because of the bias commentary of Joe Rogan…He always tries to make the fight closer than it is, like in the third round, where GSP dominated for 4:30 of the round and than Hendricks got a takedown and
had top position for 30 seconds…Joe said that he thinks Hendricks might of stole the round with that take down, Which is a ridiculous statement. No doubt it was a very close fight and Hendricks did inflict more damage, but if you look back at the fight…GSP won 13 minutes and Hendricks won 12 minutes of the fight.

    • nick says:

Well it is sad to say but that is true sometimes late takedowns will still the round even if it is with only 45 or 30 seconds left an example is Phil Davis’ win over Machida. Machida would beat him for 4 mins then Phil would get a takedown and not do much damge but still get the round.

I guess this weird thing that the UFC has called FightMetric, a computer based machine that collects information on what occurs in the fight was being biased as well, those damn machines must be GSP haters too.

  4. maddkillah says:

GSP got rounds 1, 3 & 5, 48-47 to GSP…could have been 49-46 if it wasn’t for that slip in round 4…close fight but you gotta give it to the champ..

  5. 123 says:

It looked to me like Johny Hendricks won but i wasn’t scoring it. Alot of people just listen to Joe Rogan & agree with him.

  6. BX81 says:

Gsp lost, rogan, Dana, and the majority of the fans who watched it live not hearing rogan call the fight thought so. Something needs to be done about the judges this song is getting old, real quick. Also Matt Hughes and conduit say Gsp lost that fight.

  7. Ddddddddd says:

The same people arguing about a bad decision. Defend Goerges all you want he lost and your rediculous statements make him look even worse. This site doesn’t have anyone with an objective opinion anymore. This sh!t gets more stupid by the day.

  8. slacker says:

GSp lost rounds 1, 2, & 4. But, he will definitely win the re match. Jab, then right kick to Hendricks mid – section to neutralize his upper – cut. GSP took heavy shots, but also, remarkably, Hendricks had no marks on his face. That is simply personal genetics. Hendricks won, but it wasn’t as bad as the damage made it look. He wasn’t dominant. A dominant win would have been if he won the 5th. Instead, GSP showed the heart of a champion in coming out and taking the final round.
