In 2011, I want to see Brock vs Overeem, Miller vs Bisping, then Jones vs Machida in that order. In 2012 I want to see GSP vs Diaz and Frankie vs Bendo. But for 2012 Frankie vs Bendo has the makings for fight of the year.

Hendo KO’ing Jones? No chance Jones man handled then finished Shogun, Hendo had a close win that easily coulda been a draw.
I can tell you now, that Shogun that faced Jones, wasn’t the Shogun that faced Hendo. The Shogun that fought Hendo was THE Shogun of old. Much better than he was in his last two fights. Never say never, ANYONE can get KO’d at any given time. And Jones has never faced a wrestler of Henderson’s caliber and experience. Hendo brings a different arsenal to cage than what Jones has faced. It will be a very interesting match up. Looking forward to it. But can’t dismiss Machida and/or Evans.

Definitely GSP vs Diaz. But a pretty close second, for me, is Aldo vs Mendes. I’m surprised that got very little votes. At the same time it doesn’t surprise me, considering many mainstream MMA fans don’t know any other fighters that was outside of the UFC. The Aldo vs Mendes fight is going to be a barn burner for sure.
Sad but true. Eddie Alvares vs. Michael Chandler didn’t get even nearly the hype it deserved, and that was an amazing fight. One of the best I’ve ever seen.
