You seem very misinformed. Game taken in Africa, legally by the way, is used completely. The meat is given to local villages or the villages of the local trackers on the hunt. Obviously, Matt will have the trophies shipped home. These herds of animals are managed by the specific country’s wildlife department. Additionally, guided hunting for big game brings a lot of money and jobs into Africa.

P.S. to and any anti hunters I know this isn’t exactly what you want to see, a dead animal in a photo but I have friends who have done this and have told me nothing goes to waste. The locals take everything that Matt doesn’t take with him. Besides that a large portion of the money generated from hunting licenses is used to preserve wildlife habitats.

I’m not against hunting but I just don’t get the “sport hunting”. I also eat meat but after getting out of the Marine Corps, I find it silly that anyone can go out with a rifle to kill an animal and call it a sport.
