  3. squid says:

damn this fight is gonna be sickkk! pettis will have the size advantage, but i think aldo is more explosive. hard to pick the winner in this one

  4. Broman says:

This fight is gonna be siiiick

  5. Jake from sate farm says:

Aye big daddy u must be crazy to think aldo will be able to ko pettis. Pettis has better cardio and is bigger then aldo. I think pettis is gnna have the better striking although aldo is alot faster.

  6. K2 says:

It’ll be a battle of who can get off the best leg kicks. I see both of them trying to capitalize on kicks to try and take that away from the other guy. Aldo’s kicks are sick, although Pettis’s are dynamic and he crafty with how he uses the cage.

  7. K2 says:

stupid FUKKIN not posting fukkin posts. This and the fukkin ‘writers’ ruin this site…. let’s try again with the post….

  8. MJ says:

Aldo has more tools and can take it to the ground if he wants. NU mostly guys from Natal are out wrestling some of the best NCAA guys. Ronny Markes and Rennan are good examples. Aldo’s just got an amazing team behind him. Aldo takes this and moves up to fight Henderson

  9. Thom1 says:

I think Aldo will win the first couple of rounds simply because of his speed, power and explosiveness, also his superior striking technique (thouhg thats up for debate). I could see Pettis having better cardio but then again he is fighting at 145 so who knows. Its gonna be a war for sure, 25 minutes of pure striking fun.

  10. 757 says:

would love to see Pettis beat this guy

  11. Ddddddd says:

I don’t like Aldo losing but I see Pettis winning. Pettis doesn’t get hit because he is trained by a guy that hardly ever got hit.
Pettis is clever and not only has great footwork but positions himself at a different level than most. Aldo relies on head movement that absorbs a low percentage of his opponents strikes. That is a bad match for Aldo to me. Aldo has a huge amount of kos but they’re against guys that get hit and when he gets deep( 3rd rd) things go south. Pettis is just lighter on his feet manages muscle better and has better cardio. Sure the cut for Pettis is one I haven’t seen but he has still been more reliable for cardio. You can’t stand in the pocket with Pettis with side to side head movement when your gassed and not get your brains kicked out. Then there’s leg kicks for sure but I can’t imagine Pettis not having great counters for the same leg kicks Aldo has overused. Aldo is probably my favorite straight ahead fighter but he’s dealing with someone that eats straight ahead for breakfast on a bad day. Aldo’s coming out strong rite away because he knows he has to and if Pettis can weather the storm then I can’t see him losing.
When Aldo’s in the 4th round he looks like shit when Pettis is in the 5th round he executes the most amazing off the cage kick I’ve ever seen. I hope Pettis stops him in the 1st or 2nd for trying to overcompensate for cardio that has him wanting to move up a weight class.

  12. Djdie says:

Big fan of Aldo, but going to give the advantage to pettis, Aldo cannot have the same cardio as he did the past few fights, even though it’s pettis going to Aldo’s division, pettis walks around naturally around the same weight so I don’t think the cut will have much of a weakening effect on his body. Aldo can only have the advantage in the first few rounds, so thats where and when he’s gonna want to finish it if he wants to beat pettis.
