Following their appearance on last weekend’s UFC 153 main card Fabio Maldonado and Anderson Silva took a trip to the hospital, but for very different reasons.

Maldonado took a trip for injuries sustained during his bout with Glover Teixeira and the UFC’s middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, paid him a visit.

  1. Fortyb4five says:

Anderson gave Fabio his bracelet :D lol those things are supposed to give good energy i have one. I seen Anderson wearing that throughout the whole like water doc.

  2. Xaninho says:

Mad respect for Maldonado. I was starting to feel sorry for him, it was a vicious beating.

  3. 123 says:

Fabio Maldonado is too tough, rampage jackson will get the same beating.. glover texiera is dangerous for any1.

  4. Not You says:

I’ve got to admit, seeing Maldonado stumble and slump around between rounds was hard to see. Definitely one of the toughest dudes in the sport at the moment.

  5. 2lowtoe says:

    got heart

  6. some guy says:

dude took that beating like a ****in CHAMP! felt bad for him when the doc stopped the fight you could see the let down in his eyes poor guy, but his health is whats important he will be back tho cant wait to see the guy fight again!

  7. Josiah says:

fight should’ve been stopped earlier..rest of the beating aren’t necessary anymore..

  8. Finn says:

I was kinda happy when the doctor stopped it. I was starting to think we could see the first death in the ring for the UFC. Guy’s a warrior though.

  9. CombatRusse says:

Anderson Silva is really the biggest martial artist on the planet because he has the skills AND the honor.
Hopefully Maldonado improves his takedown defence, adds some kicks to his arsenal, and drops to middle weight.
I would love to see him compete with someone on his level both on skills and size
Glover Teixieira was too big, with a clear advantage in wrestling

  10. Sherman says:

    Always Good

  11. B-rad says:

Damnnn his face is ****ed up, no other way to put it.. that fight definitly shortend his career at least a little. I hope i never take that much damage in a afight :/
