Back in May of 2010 Paul Daley fought and lost to Josh Koscheck in a number one contender bout at UFC 113. At the culmination of round three when he was aware that he would obviously not be declared the victory, the British fighter punched Josh Koscheck after the bell. You might want to go back and watch the Martin Kampmann fight where daley KO’d him before spouting off how Daley isn’t good enough for UFC. In Daleys last fight with woodley who is the biggest lay n prayer in MMA next to jon fitch and daley was able to stop almost all Woodleys takedowns. daley ahs inproved his ground game bigtime. Go back and watch Koscheck vs Daley and see how deathly afraid Koscheck was of daleys stand up. Daley has inproved by leaps and bounds since that fight and i belive he would prob be able to stop Kos takedowns now and KO kocheck. Daley should be allowed back if Nate “THE CHEAT” marquardt was let back after RUINING a main event and pissing hot for like the 5th time in his career. Nate has been given more chances than any other fighter in UFC so Daley deserves another chance. i don’t think what daley did was any worse than the intentional blatent OBVIOUS illegal knee from Bisping to Rivera’s face. Go watch that videoa nd tell me taht wasn’t the lowest scumbag thing you have ever seen in combat sports. Whats even worse is Dana didn’t do a damn thing about it (because it was his brit poster boy of course) anyone else would have been kicked out of the UFC
It really wasn’t the sucker punch that got his ass eighty-sixed, it was is response to Dana right after when Dana asked him if he cared about his career…that’s were he should begin to start licking ass at, and apologizing..

why? he can’t even make weight on a consistent basis. he should get the basics down as a professional first before the UFC is even considered.
Alves and Rumble missed weight so many times with no reprecussions. Daley is a small 170 compared to GSP and Fitch so don’t even try and make him out to be some big friggen oversized WW like Rumble and Fitch

He was frustrated cause Cockshag LnP himself to a decision win. Although understandable, it’s very unprofessional.
Some juicing fighters have demolished their opponents in the fight, I find that way more offensive than a little suckerpunch after the bell rang. But the juicers get a second chance, why not give Semtex a second chance? He is an exciting fighter. I’d like to see him back in the UFC, he is one of the few that had Nick Diaz rocked. He was just too eager to capitalize on it and got caught by Diaz.
The UFC just plain does not need this joker…. He was a sore loser on his way out.

I was laughing when I heard that, too. I apparently hadn’t grasped the concept of that yet. And after the apology it sounds like he’s saying that he knew he could do that and get away with it cause he has so many fans. Did I hear that right?
I actually think Daley should be allowed back in the ufc and koscheck banned for 12 months for his blatant cheating! Why does it just get overlooked? Joe Rogan mentioned it a little with the knee that never happened but after the fight it’s forgotten about.. He’s a cheat and should be punished!

Diaz does have a great chin but it was obvious who they (Zuffa) wanted to win . Diaz was given lost of time to recover but the ref stopped it quick when daley was hurt and ref knew there was only like 2 seconds left in round. daley was the only one that didn’t get gthe memo from dana to (LOSE)
Same exact thing happen to Kampmann when Zuffa brought Sheilds over to fight GSP. Everyone knew Kampmann had won the fight but the judges, ref everyone involved made sure Sheilds stole the win. That wasn’t only time Kampmann has been screwed when he beat the hell out of Diego and was ripped off again.
Big John looks suspicious and uncomfortable at the beginning of the fight. But, Daley hit the hell out of Nick a couple times and it looked quite real, un-staged. I do think John stopped it too early. I don’t think Daley took a dive because who falls like that? He fell like a kid who had spun in his chair for too long… I do think because of Nick’s super human chin and super human cardio he would have finished up in the 2nd rd by TKO. But it’s all good! Didn’t Daley KO Scott Smith a month or two ago?….

And the fight Diaz-Daley should have been stopped when Diaz went FACE DOWN to the canvas.
